this might just be what i've been trying to articulate all these years. mainly to myself. except i should tweak the part about "no one in my family"...

so, this morning i heard it. this noon, actually. the church bells. they sound at 12 noon every first day of the month. it strikes a chord in me whenever i hear it (pardon the expression), especially at this first day of the first month of the first year when i am freed from the bounds of school.

no more fretting about school re-opening! hah! HAH-HAH!

and yet, the prospect of results-day looms. ominously, sad to say. my carefree days are shrouded and marred with stupid worries such as this.


expectations hurt. they hurt like shit. this refers to evth in the world.


last day of 2007 (a year that crawled and trudged from day one to 22 nov, then flew past from then on) was spent with e and x. first e, with another job consultation, abit of shopping, then her interview. then x came and we spent a few precious moments together before parting. then i wentto dhoby ghaut to meet up with the class. steamboat ($15); a satisfying and enjoyable affair. :) i'll let the photos say the rest. nub's post-dinner plans were sort of a spoiler but oh well, dont blame him lar.
